Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using the Mori app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you ("User") and Mori. By accepting these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of this document.

2. Description of Service

Mori is a digital platform for parents and caregivers. Its core is the Mori Agent — an AI assistant you talk to in chat to organize family life. The service offers:

  • An AI assistant (the Mori Agent) to log and recall appointments, health notes, expenses, school information, and reminders
  • Uploading photos and documents (such as prescriptions, exams, receipts, or school invitations) that the Agent reads and organizes for you
  • A shared family record that two linked guardians can both access
  • AI-powered activity suggestions for children
  • Multi-language support (English and Portuguese)

Mori reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the service at any time, with prior notice whenever possible.

3. Eligibility and Registration

To use Mori, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a parent or legal guardian of the child for whom the service will be used
  • Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration
  • Keep your account information up to date

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (email, password, and PIN) and for all activities carried out under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at contato@oiemori.com.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 You may:

  • Use Mori for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Create and manage child profiles for your children or children under your care
  • Connect your Google Calendar account for use within the app
  • Rate and save generated activities

4.2 You may not:

  • Use the service for illegal purposes or in ways that violate third-party rights
  • Attempt to access other users' data or reverse-engineer the application
  • Share your account with unauthorized third parties
  • Use the service in ways that overload or harm Mori's infrastructure
  • Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the service without authorization
  • Upload documents or photos containing other people's personal information that you are not authorized to share

5. AI Content & Not Professional Advice

Mori uses artificial intelligence (Claude, by Anthropic) to generate activities and to power the Mori Agent. It is important to understand:

  • AI output — including activity suggestions and anything the Agent tells you — can be incomplete or wrong, and should be reviewed by you
  • The Mori Agent is an organizational tool. It does NOT provide medical, legal, or financial advice, and is not a substitute for a doctor, pharmacist, lawyer, or accountant
  • The Agent will never tell you a medication dose. Always follow your healthcare professional's and the medication label's instructions
  • You are always the supervising guardian and are responsible for decisions about your child's health, finances, and safety
  • Activities involving physical materials must be supervised by an adult

For any medical, legal, or financial decision, consult a qualified professional.

6. Third-Party Integrations

Mori may integrate with third-party services such as Google Calendar. When using these integrations:

  • You agree to the terms of service and privacy policies of the respective providers
  • Mori accesses only the data strictly necessary to provide the offered functionality
  • You may revoke access to integrations at any time in your account settings or directly through the third-party service

Mori is not responsible for failures, outages, or changes in third-party services that may affect app functionality.

6.1 Closed Beta

The Mori Agent is currently offered as an invite-only closed beta. It is provided "as is", may change, break, or be interrupted, and access may be granted or revoked at our discretion. Features may be added or removed during the beta.

6.2 Shared Guardian Accounts

A child's record can be shared between two linked guardians. Both can view and edit the shared information, and each of you is responsible for your own use of the account and for ensuring you have the right to share the information you add.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within the Mori application — including the brand, logo, design, text, source code, and features — is the property of Mori and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

AI-generated activities for personal use within the app may be freely used by the user for the purposes intended by the service. No part of the application may be copied, modified, or distributed without prior written authorization from Mori.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Mori is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the service will be available without interruption, free of errors, or that the results obtained from its use will meet your specific expectations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mori shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.

Mori's total liability to you, for any reason, shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or USD $20.00, whichever is greater.

10. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through the app settings or by sending a request to contato@oiemori.com. After cancellation, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Mori may suspend or terminate your account in the event of a violation of these Terms, fraudulent use, or activities that harm other users or the platform, without prior notice in serious cases.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

If you do not agree with the changes, you must close your account before the new terms come into effect.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the courts of the City of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, Brazil, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction, however privileged it may be.
